OK after much discussion with Colin and reading the comments on here we have decided the following on tyres.

We WILL ALLOW the use of additive. LRP Top Grip Carpet (Part number LRP65011) or the Nosram equivalent (sorry I don’t have the part number at the moment). Tyres will remain either the Carpet Dragon or the LRP Vtec 24R (part number LRP65051) still available from the club at a reduced rate.

These are the only tyres/additives allowed. Please remember when using additive it MUST be removed from the tyre BEFORE placing the car on the track.

This rule change has been brought about in order to bring a level playing field to the club once again, and hopefully bring the enjoyment back to the club that has been lacking in the last few weeks.

In the spirit of fair play, we have also decided that a rule change once the series has started in not fair. Hence the Spring Series will be re-started on Friday the 11th of May with the results from last week not counting. This will hopefully give people enough time to get slick and additive sorted out and give this Friday as a setup meeting before we re-start the series.
